"I just realized something," Mo suddenly said, turning to James.

"What's that?"

"What if Pattie's not home?"

"She is."

"How can you be sure? I mean, I know for a fact that Cynthia's home, but Pattie?"

"I have a few friends who work in her field and personally know her. If what they told me is true, then Layla should be home today."

"Really?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"I really hope she is. We haven't gotten together in so long."

James grinned that mischievous grin again, almost as if he was planning something. "Me too. Ah, here we are."

They took a left and ended up on the front yard of Kenwood. "Oh, this place is so beautiful," Mo said. "It was so sweet of John to buy her such a lovely house."

"I know."

The gardener greeted them and they waved back at him, then James knocked on the door. A servant answered. "Hello," she greeted. "May I help you?"

"Is the Misses Lennon home?" James asked.

"Who's callin'?"

"Maureen Starkey and her friend, James," Mo intervened.

"Now I know you," the servant then said, pointing to Mo. "I just didn't know him." She smiled. "Alrighty, I'll tell her."

James nodded his head. "Thank you, ma'am."

After a moment or so, the sweet little Cynthia walked towards the entrance. "Hey, Mo!" she waved.

"Hey!" Mo replied, enthusiastically.

"And James, is it?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Do I know you? That names sounds so familiar."

Mo giggled excessively as Cynthia tried to figure out where she had met James. Then after about five minutes, James finally said, "Alright, it's not fun anymore."

He took off his hat, displaying Jane's pinned up red hair and the fake brown hairs attached to the inside of the hat.

"JANE?" Cynthia said, and brought her hand up to her face. "JAMES ASHTON--oh my god, I'm such an idiot."

Mo laughed even harder and Jane brought a hand up to her shoulder, holding her as if she were about to fall. "We should really let Mo sit down before she goes into labor!"

"Oh, of course! Come in."

And so they all sat down in the living room and Jane told her about the play.

"I don't think I've ever seen that one," Cynthia said, shaking her head.

"Really?" Mo asked. "You have to. It's so funny!"

"Is it?"

"Very!"

She thought for a moment. "Is it appropriate for all ages?"

"If you don't mind cross dressing and accidental lesbianism, yes," Jane said, and they all laughed.

"You see, I'd bring Julian along, but I'm afraid he would get bored."

"See, that's the thing. Truthfully, I want this to be a day for us and only us. We may never get a chance like this again."

"We see each other all the time, though."

"All FOUR of us?"

"Well, not all four of us..."

"Exactly. I talked to a few friends who personally know Layla and they said that she would be home today too. This should be a day for US!"

Cynthia had another thought, then said, "Mo?"

"Hm?"

"Is that nanny of yours watching over Zak?"

"Yes."

"I'll go with you on one condition."

"What's that?"

"Would you mind if we brought Julian over to your house to play with Zak? He gets awful lonely when John and the boys are away."

"I wouldn't mind that at all!"

James Ashton and Mo walking down to Kenwood, home of the Lennon's. Cynthia agrees to go with them on one condition.
